The official, carefully edited community newspaper for Phase B of Golden Lakes Village, is named “The Village Speaker”.
PHASE A of Golden Lakes Village, near the entrance gate from Okeechobee Blvd., publishes a separate newspaper, the “Village Talk”, with its own Phase A event calendars, ads, news, and photos. Look for the “TALK” newspaper in the main clubhouse office hallway.
The Phase B “Speaker” is not always easy to find and take a copy of by Realtors trying to help sell or buy units, and by residents who visit the Phase B clubhouse infrequently, such as our traveling “snowbird residents. ”
The location of our newspaper moves sometimes!
You’re welcome to ask at the office window for its current pick up location, OR in June, 2015, you can simply pick up a free copy of the colorful, information packed , ad and calendar-event filled paper inside the Phase B “CAFE”.
The Cafe, near the enormous, “main pool,” is located at the pool-end of the central, office hallway known locally as “the Breezeway.”
Simply open the door into the Cafe, then look to your left for shelves in the nearest corner, check the date of publication for latest issue and take one!.
